DMCA Notification Requirements

We will review your submission and take any action appropriate under the DMCA, including removing the disputed content from the site. In addition, we may restrict access or terminate the account of the reported user in appropriate circumstances.

Counter-notification Requirement

Suppose an agreement cannot be reached with the reported copyright owner. In that case, the content owner may submit a DMCA counter-notification to our mailbox within ten business days of our notification date. If we receive a valid counter-complaint, we will email the copyright owner a copy of the notice. A counter-notification is a legal document that must comply with the requirements of the DMCA and must include the following:

Consent to jurisdiction, one of the following statements (as the case may be): If located in the United States: “I consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the jurisdiction in which the address I have provided is located.” If headquartered outside the United States: “I submit to the jurisdiction of any U.S. district court in which we are located.”

Consent to service of the following statement: “I will receive service from the person who provided the original notice or his agent.”

Signature: An electronic or physical signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Request: Trademark removal request.

List of countries where the trademark is registered.

The registration number of the trademark.

A scanned copy of the trademark registration certificate or a screenshot of the registration on the relevant website or database of the State Intellectual Property Office.
